World Elder Abuse Awareness Day -2021

To mark the WORLD ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS DAY (WEAAD) 2021, International Longevity Centre-India with the support of Gharda Chemicals Ltd. organized a SLOGAN Competition for senior citizens in Maharashtra.

Seniors were asked to send us self-made slogans in Marathi/Hindi or English through an email or a Whatsapp message.

 

Slogans are mainly used to create awareness about a crucial issue in a very creative manner!

 

 

We at ILC-I are very happy to share that we have got an overwhelming response! Seniors from different districts of Maharashtra participated in this competition and we have received really interesting slogans from all of them!.

 

 

On 15th of June 2021, ILC-I conducted an online webinar and at the end of the session, announced the winners of the competition.

Congratulations to Mr. Vijay Bakshi, Ms. Nanda Londhe, Mr. Durgaprasad Khandalkar, Ms. Sushama Shidhaye and Ms. Suvarna Limaye for their contribution to create awareness and stand against the ELDER ABUSE!
