Anjani Mashelkar Inspiration Award 2022

It is our pleasure to inform you that the “Anjani Mashelkar Inspiration Award 2022”, an award instituted by Padma Vibhushan Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, President of ILC-I, will be given by the end of this year.

The Anjani Mashelkar Inspiration Award is a national award of Rs. 1 lakh and a certificate, and has been instituted by Dr. Mashelkar in memory of his mother, to honour her struggle in adverse circumstances that she faced in her life while single-handedly bringing up her son.

This Award will be given in this spirit to democratize inspiration through the life and work of an elderly unsung Indian woman over the age of 60 years. Celebrating such role models will inspire others to be more and do more!

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Indian woman above the age of 60 living in India
2. Unsung hero – should not be affluent or already decorated with recognition and well known in the public eye.
3. Work and life’s accomplishment should be against all odds and by overcoming hardships and challenges.
4. Potential of becoming a role model.
5. Work should have a huge social impact.
6. Any field of work will be considered.

The formal creative for this Award along with the application form is attached and I request you to please feel free to share the data or information about any such elderly woman who you think fits the criteria for the Award.
