Since April 2020, India was under strict lock-down for almost seven months. It was not possible to interact with senior citizens as they were among high risk group and it was a mandate for them to stay at home. Hence, ILC-I with the CSR support of Gharda Chemicals Ltd. conducted online programmes including online poetry and essay competitions and National, International webinar series.
National webinar series had ten sessions of experts from different fields. Though focus of the topics was Corona pandemic, experts also covered vital topics like dementia, role of elderly women in making a change, cyber security, environment protection and so on.
Every webinar session was made live on YouTube and Facebook.
