Even though the ILC-I office resumed its work in an offline mode, due to restrictions still in place on social gatherings, ILC-I has continued its online activities. Three sessions on certain issues and concerns of the older adults on a national level were organized. Three experts from various fields contributed to create awareness among the seniors. The first session was conducted by Dr. Rohini Patwardhan, a senior gerontologist on the topic “Living Will” on 29th January 2022. The second session was conducted by Mr. Mathew Cherian, Honorary Director of ILC-I. He delivered a lecture on the topic “Challenges faced in the field of population ageing-looking back and ahead” The third session was delivered by Dr. Prem Narasimhan, Geriatrician, Jaslok Hospital. He, based on his vast practical experience, talked about the topic “Orthogeriatrics-A need for seniors”
