A) “Early diagnosis” is the first step of disease prevention!

Hence, ILC-I in association with Bai Ratanbai Gharda Hospital (BRGH), Lavel and JNS Kherdi, Chiplun organized a one day “MEDICAL ASSESSMENT CAMP” with the support of Gharda Chemicals Ltd in Kherdi Grampanchayat Hall. This camp was attended by local seniors aged 50 years and above. This was a free camp and seniors have received their health cards, so they will be getting concessions on their follow-up visits at the hospital (BRGH).

On 8th December 2023, in the presence of Sarpanch Mrs. Pandit mam and a few representatives of Kherdi JNS, we inaugurated the camp. Dr. Chighale, Dr. Shinde and Dr. Kapure from BRGH along with their well-equipped team of healthcare professionals were present.

BP monitoring, blood sugar level, Osteoporosis test, ECG and then consultation by doctors were carried out systematically, one by one after the registration process.

We are grateful to Gharda Chemicals Ltd. for their support. Extremely thankful to Ms. Aishwarya Bhave and her entire team of BRGH. Thanks to Shri Bapurao Pawar and his colleague for a visit to the camp.

Looking forward to more such groundwork in various parts of Konkan region in the future.

B) “The real wealth is your Health!”, and ILC-I totally believes in the same!

As a part of our collaborative work in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, with the support of Gharda Chemicals Ltd., ILC-I organized a one-day ‘Medical Assessment Camp’ in Brahman Seva Sangh Hall, Chiplun on Thursday, 8th February 2024.

A team of three doctors and support healthcare staff were present for the health check-ups of older adults. Dr. Avinash Kapure, Dr Firojh Patel and Dr Payal Kadamwar from Bai Ratanbai Gharda Hospital, Lavel examined older adults who attended the medical camp.

Jyestha Nagarik Sangh, Chiplun was an associated partner in this camp. Their members and other seniors across various parts of Chiplun block benefited from this camp.

Nayab Tahasildar Shri Sameer Desai inaugurated the camp in the presence of the doctors and the president of Chiplun JNS Shri Usman Bangi and Shri Bapurao Pawar from Gharda CSR Unit in Lote.

Free medical check-ups by Bai Ratanbai Gharda Hospital included monitoring of blood pressure and sugar, ECG, discussion with the doctors and free medicines, especially for treating osteoporosis.

Team ILC-I   – Mr. Nandkumar Sakat, Mr. Sushant Sonawane and Mrs. Yaashodaa Kashikar-Padhye coordinated this event and helped seniors with registration and other formalities at the camp.
